Introducing a brand new buildabrand.
We’ve listened, learnt and responded! Making your buildabrand journey easy, quick and simple. Thank you for all your feedback!
Start the year with a bang!
Ahh, a new year. A chance to dig out those resolutions you brushed under the rug in 2011 and make 2012 the year to see your idea turn into a reality. How? Whether you have a name, a concept, a product idea, want to start freelancing, or even have a fully fledged business proposal, we’ve put together 8 ways buildabrand will kickstart your idea in 2012:
“Showcasing talent, drive and diversity” – buildabrand represents a new era of technological innovation [at the Conservative Party Conference]
User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX) design Jedi Carlos Rouse joined buildabrand as our principle UX Strategist at the end of May and brought to the team a wealth of UI and UX design knowledge . Having worn many design hats at BSkyB, he’s faced his share of UI challenges and has developed some clever and beautiful solutions.
I recently attended a talk, Angry Birds: Investing in the Big Game, where Chris Dark, Senior Investment Manager at venture capital firm Atomico, spoke about Atomico’s recent investment in the game maker Rovio. Chris also shared some general tips for startups and entrepreneurs in the audience looking to work with VC firms. Don’t worry if you weren’t able to attend, sharing is the rule here at buildabrand.
Not that long ago in September 2010 buildabrand made a move to join the London and European tech movers and shakers at TechHub (you might remember reading @TechHub: Silicon Roundabout). Bang in the middle of London’s Silicon Roundabout, we were among developers, entrepreneurs, events, angels, and investors in early stage tech capital. We accelerated our progress; networking, ramping up, hanging with the cool kids, knocking back beers and eating stacks of pizza… exciting times.
Loads of fun, loads of photos. Take a peek at some of the night’s highlights inside…
Work at buildabrand keeps intensifying, leading us to maintain our hunt for creative engineers that are interested in building truly innovative technology. As many of you know, the London tech sector (Silicon Roundabout) has been rapidly growing, which has us thinking about our relationship to Silicon Valley and the idea of technology innovation. Being a developer myself, I felt it was time to add my two cents to the online debate.
We love this! It’s Friday and we have received probably the best Intern application in the world! Ever! It’s brilliant, it’s genius, it’s awesome.
The funny thing about working here at buildabrand ltd. is being involved in engineering something so simply understood that no-one realises what fantastic challenges we overcome to make it happen.
