Your Responsibilities

• You will be bedrock of our web based UX and interactive experiences.
• Work with our CTO, CEO and designers to implement truly beautiful cutting edge interfaces and web apps.
• Participate in all product interface implementation.
• Work with our partners to integrate our technology with theirs.
• Work with our core platform developers to wire our web interfaces with our APIs.
• Contribute in a major way to our UX and customer experience.
• Help streamline our scripting assets and page templates.
• Evangelise buildabrand via our blog, events and social media.

Our Requirements

• Expert level (3+ years’ directly relevant experience) of front-end and highly modular JavaScript.
• Eat, Drink & Breathe JavaScript!
• Similarly expert CSS / XHTML skills.
• Intimate cross browser development knowledge.
• Solid experience with JavaScript frameworks (especially jQuery).
• Experience with Canvas / visual development using mathematics.
• Experience building highly interactive web application interfaces via the use of AJAX.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator-type tools, as well as a full technical understanding of web art-working and graphics design.
• Knowledge of one or more of ActionScript 3, Python, Ruby, or SQL would be advantageous.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative programming environment.
